Organic Wear Mascara, One Night Stand Nail Polish, Cargo Plant Love Lipstick, OH MY!

Published by sydneyh at 4:04 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I’ve been wondering about these three products.  I’ve heard some good things about them, and finally decided that I want to try them (and I wanted a good excuse for some retail therapy!).  Don’t worry, this is a happy review.  These will be the new loves in my life (you can really never have too many), that will probably stay awhile.  But you probably need a more detailed review to buy what I’m saying.

Here it is:

1.  Organic Wear Mascara

This mascara is 100% natural and looks awesome.  It’s about $10 cheaper than most other organic mascaras and it comes in a cuter bottle.  Here are the cons of the mascara (I am one to give the bad news first): 1.  It comes off extremely easily, which can be a big problem if you have watery eyes, 2.  The little leaf on the handle makes it a little bit harder to turn your mascara wand while your applying the mascara.  Pros of this product (HAPPY TIME):  1.  It looks awesome and like it cost a lot more than $10, 2.  It doesn’t smell or irritate the eyes like regular mascara , 3.  The bottle makes  you happy when you look at it (we all need a little perk in the early hours of the morning), 4.  It washes off really easy, and you have no need to battle your lashes with makeup remover (who wants to that when all they want to do is go to sleep???), 5.  Did I mention it’s organic?  Do yourself a favor and at least try this mascara.  Buy for around $10 at your local drugstore.

2.  One Night Stand, Paint & Peel Polish in  MOSS

There are a lot of cool things about this nail polish.  First of all it’s water based, and you apparently peel it off instead of using nail polish remover, and it completely comes off in the shower.  This is good for me because I go so many different places that I have to change my nail polish constantly because one nail polish color that is okay for one place is bad for another.  Second of all… THIS NAIL POLISH DOES NOT SMELL.  No more headaches for me.  The color is awesome, but if you’re not into the olive green look there are some other awesome colors you can choose from.  It took two coats to get the desired affect, but it dries crazy fast.  I’ll be honest, the texture of the nail polish isn’t the smoothest, but that doesn’t bug me because it looks so cool and modern.  Buy at Urban Outfitters.  I got mine on sale for $2, but it is originally $9.

3.  Plant Love Lipstick by CARGO in Lindsey

I’ve got nothing bad to say about this lipstick.  It’s eco-friendly (was recognized by ECOCERT), feels great, looks great.  The packaging is just so happy too.  The shade I tried (Lindsey) was very natural, but it comes in 19 (total of 20) other shades that are more noticible, and they each cost $20.  Buy only at Sephora.

Oh my god. I know exactly what you mean!!! I hate having to rub rub rub my nails with that stupid remover that smells like a mix of toner and alcohol. I will most definitely try these ideas.
When mascara and eyeliner get in my eye, it stings so badly. My attempt to end the pain I manage smear the perfectly done job on my cheeks and eyelids. Then i have to get my foaming make-up remover and have start all over again. It’s a bitch. I start my morning with cursing and anger and end it feeling pleased. Hopefully these products end my morning tantrums. Thanks a lot. Keep the posts coming.
